From November 27 to 29, "China Russia Physical Education Forum" was held in NENU. Leaders, experts and scholars from 18 normal universities in China and Russia and heads of international exchanges attended the forum. Wang Zhanren, vice president of NENU, signed the charter of the alliance on behalf of NENU and participated in relevant activities, accompanied by Zhang Jingping, director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Department, and relevant personnel of the School of Physical Education and the International Cooperation and Exchange Department.
This forum has set up two sub forums, namely "The Reform of Physical Education Curriculum for Primary and Secondary School Students in China and Russia" and "The Construction of Physical Education Major in Colleges and Universities in China and Russia". Professor Liu Junyi of the School of Physical Education of NENU made a report on the forum of "The Construction of Physical Education Major in Colleges and Universities in China and Russia", which aroused strong repercussions among experts and scholars in Russian sports field. Taking the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games as an opportunity, the forum gathered Russian experts in education, especially in the field of ice and snow, discussed the cooperation between the two countries in the field of ice and snow, exchanged and learnt from each other, and made positive efforts to promote the construction of ice and snow projects in the two countries.
