From November 28 to December 1, the 18th China Ecology Congress hosted by the Chinese Society of Ecology was held in Yunnan. "The Outstanding Contribution Award of the Chinese Society of Ecology" was set up for the first time in the conference, in recognition of the experts and scholars who have made outstanding contributions to the cultivation of ecological talents and scientific research since the establishment of the society. In total, 40 people were commended, including many academicians, founders, directors and industry leaders of the Chinese ecological society. Professor Sheng Lianxi of NENU was awarded this award.
