Teacher Education Research Institute Launched a Series of Epidemic Prevention and Anti-epidemic Activities

Recently, under the guidance of the Party Committee of NENU, the faculty of the Teacher Education Research Institute have actively participated in the epidemic prevention and control of the university, and brought to full play the professional functions of the university in epidemic prevention and control. Centering on teacher education research and teacher professional development, they focus on the new frontiers of education and teaching, explore new models of classroom teaching of teachers and share new achievements in educational scientific research in order to contribute to the nationwide efforts to battle the epidemic.

Take on the mission of NENU and carry out special researches to contribute wisdom to the epidemic prevention. During the fight against COVID-19, the Teacher Education Research Institute consciously fulfilled the mission of scientific research workers and followed the original intention of scientific research to provide theoretical support for major national realistic issues. Focusing on the actual needs of the national epidemic prevention and control and the key and difficult issues in the development of teacher education during the epidemic period, the Institute launched “Research on Teacher Education Response Strategies in Major Epidemic Crises”. Focusing on key issues in the field of teacher education during and after the epidemic, the Institute organized special application work and set up 10 research directions and 24 research topics. The Institute is committed to actively exploring new perspectives, new paths and new paradigms for teacher education reform and development in order to provide theoretical guidance, strategic assistance and intellectual support for teacher education research during the epidemic.
