Vicente Andreu, the foreign dean of the Confucius Institute at the University of Valencia, Spain, published a signed article The Dark Night of Wisdom in the famous Spanish newspaper Levante, and firmly supported the Chinese people in fighting the novel coronavirus epidemic. The Confucius Institute at the Dong-A University in Korea has organized a special epidemic prevention and control group to cooperate with the Chinese embassy and consulate in Korea to carry out anti-epidemic activities. The Confucius Institute at Seneca College of Canada, under the circumstances of the shortage of Chinese teachers due to the epidemic, bravely shouldered the great responsibility, and provide for the local Chinese teaching and HSK work with a timely help. Their patience and love won the praise of the public in Toronto, and the number of students hit a record high. The Confucius Institute at Mongolian State University of Education attaches great importance to epidemic prevention and control. They immediately formulated and issued the “Measures for Epidemic Prevention” and actively communicated with Confucius Institute Headquarters and Global HSK, and was approved to be the first Confucius Institute to postpone the HSK around the world.
