On March 25, NENU held the 6th plenary meeting of the Commission for Discipline Inspection and the 27th plenary meeting of the Supervisory Committee of the NENU of the Communist Party of China. A total of 18 members of the NENU Disciplinary Inspection Commission and Supervisory Committee attended the meeting. Lan Hengbin, deputy secretary of the party committee and secretary of the discipline inspection committee, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. All staff of the Commission for Discipline Inspection and the Supervision Office attended the meeting.
The meeting conveyed and learned the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the Eleventh Session of the Jilin Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection, and the spirit of the “Party Committee (Party Group) Implementing the Provisions on Main Responsibility for the Comprehensive and Strict Administration of the CPC”. The meeting also passed the “Work Report on the Requirements for the Reform of the Discipline Inspection and Supervision System in Colleges and Universities” and “Working Regulations for Discipline Inspection and Supervision of Northeast Normal University.”
In his concluding speech, Lan Hengbin pointed out that with the continuous improvement of the epidemic prevention and control situation in China, NENU’s work began to move forward steadily and the task of discipline inspection and supervision work in 2020 is still arduous with great responsibilities. We should conscientiously understand the spirit of the relevant meetings of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the Jilin Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection, clarify the direction of discipline inspection and supervision work of NENU in 2020, strengthen political supervision, do not relax to grasp daily supervision, and strengthen supervision and inspection of implementation of major decisions deploy and important work arrangements for every unit, and continue to rectify the “four styles” problems such as irresponsibility, non-action, formalism, and bureaucracy. We should also strengthen the self-construction of discipline inspection and supervision cadres, enhance political awareness, and enhance the ability of supervision and discipline, to provide a strong guarantee for successful completion of NENU’s “13th Five-Year Plan” and the in-depth advancement of “Double First-Class” construction.
