On June 5th, the inauguration ceremony of the “Institute of Natural Resources in Jilin Province” was held in NENU. Li Xiangguo, Director and Secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group of the Natural Resources Department of Jilin Province, Zhang Yuguang, Deputy Director of the Natural Resources Department of Jilin Province and leaders of related departments, Liu Yichun, President of NENU, Xu Haiyang, Vice President of NENU and leaders of the School of Geographical Sciences and related departments attended the launching ceremony. The Institute of Natural Resources in Jilin Province is a scientific research institute jointly established by the Natural Resources Department of Jilin Province and NENU. The establishment of the institute opened a new chapter in the strategic cooperation between the Natural Resources Department of Jilin Province and our university. At the ceremony, Liu Yichun and Li Xiangguo unveiled the “Institute of Natural Resources in Jilin Province” and issued letters of appointment to the Dean and Deputy Dean of the Institute of Natural Resources in Jilin Province.
