In the context of the normalization of epidemic prevention and control, in order to ensure a smooth start of the new semester, from August 17th to 21st, our school’s affiliated kindergarten held a one-week training course for faculty members. The headmaster of the kindergarten Jiao Runkai and party branch secretary Zhang Zedong attended the event.
During the training course, the staff of the affiliated kindergarten explained the work arrangements for this semester, focusing on improving the quality of care and education, and insisted on both epidemic prevention and control and the quality of care and education. First of all, in order to deepen the curriculum reform of kindergarten, the head of the kindergarten, the head of nursing and education, and the four former teaching team leaders with rich experience jointly formed the "Curriculum Teaching Optimization Working Group" to discuss how to start from the five major fields and create innovations at different ages. At the same time, the staff deeply explored the design and implementation of Lego's innovative education and social emotional learning in kindergarten care and education activities to cultivate children's creative thinking. Secondly, the kindergarten clarified the teaching style of "careful preparation, study with patience, careful observation and whole-hearted education" and the style of study of "interest, focus, inquiries, and willingness to cooperate", focusing on improving the overall quality of the teaching staff and cultivating outstanding children’s learning quality and study habits. In addition, the kindergarten will take advantage of the cooperation opportunities between the kindergarten principal training center of the Ministry of Education and the Lego Group to prepare for the establishment of a first-class kindergarten Lego Education Innovation Game Room in the country. The affiliated kindergarten also held a new teaching team leader competition, and eight teaching team leaders and deputy team leaders were elected. The formation of the new team laid a solid foundation for the smooth development of the care and education management.
Through this training, all kindergarten teachers have a deep understanding of the philosophy of running a kindergarten, strengthen their ideals and beliefs in learning, thinking, and understanding, and fulfill their original mission in the pursuit of success. They will be more enthusiastic about their work. They will create a special curriculum system for creative education in the East Normal School affiliated kindergarten, and strive to play a demonstrative and leading role to enhance the curriculum influence of the East Normal School affiliated kindergarten in the national kindergartens.
