Recently, the State Sports General Administration selected a NENU 2017 undergraduate Wang Jing into the national speed skating training team to prepare for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. At the same time, the Olympic Preparation Office of the Chinese Olympic Committee selected Luan Jian, a 2016 doctoral student of NENU, as the scientific research coach of the national cross-country skiing training team.
Up to now, the Ice and Snow Sports Science Research Center of NENU has successively sent 2018 postgraduate Lu Wenping (National Snowboard Parallel Giant Slalom Youth Team Coach) and 2017 doctoral student student Jiang Qi (freestyle ski jumping platform and slope obstacle skills national training team), 2018 master student Wang Xing (physical fitness coach of the Hebei Alpine Ski Team) and other scientific research personnel are responsible for the scientific and technological services of the national team in preparation for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.
The School of Physical Education of NENU actively serves the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, establishes the "big ice and snow" educational concept, creates a talent training model of “ice and snow plus” and supports the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics with science and technology, implements the national “two ice and snow sports plan”, and realizes the goal of “300 million people on ice and snow”.
