On October 17th, in the 4th Jilin Province College Students Lectures on Ideological and Political Courses, the team of Fang Ning from the School of Political Science and Law and the team of Qu Boyao from the School of Marxism won the first prize after three rounds of fierce competition in the preliminary, semi-final and final. NENU won the Outstanding Organization Award. The team of Fang Ning will represent NENU to participate in the public lectures on ideological and political courses for college students nationwide.
In order to demonstrate the Marxist theoretical attainment and teaching ability of the students in NENU, the Student Affairs Department of the Party Committee and the School of Marxism launched a collection of ideological and political open classes for all undergraduates in NENU. 40 teams from various Schools have undergone two rounds of selection for teaching design and teaching demonstration. Two outstanding teams were selected to participate in the provincial competition. The School of Marxism equipped each team with one-to-one instructors, leading the team with famous teachers, improving quality with famous courses, deepening students’ understanding and grasp of the teaching content of ideological and political courses, and transforming the advantages of Marxist theory into teaching advantages. With the theme of “Blooming Anti-epidemic Youth and Securing a Decisive Victory in Building a Well-off Society in an All-round Way”, this competition showcased the spirits of college students in the new era.
