Recently, the library of NENU ranked second in the 2020 CASHL service evaluation and won the “First Prize of High-quality Service” again.
CASHL (China Academic Humanities and Social Sciences Library) is the literature center of humanities and social sciences in Chinese universities. Under the guidance of the Ministry of Education, and in line with the principle of “co-construction, mutual knowledge and common sharing”, CASHL provides services for the teaching and research of philosophy and social sciences in universities nationwide.
NENU’s library is one of CASHL’s 17 national centers. As the disciplinary center of world history and education of CASHL, the library of NENU is responsible for providing services to college users nationwide. During the pandemic, the library overcame many difficulties and accomplished many tasks perfectly such as resource construction, document transmission, inter-library delivery, knowledge service, publicity and promotion, etc. While striving for CASHL special fund for liberal arts and large special collection subsidy for NENU, sharing CASHL document resources, the library has also enhanced the influence and popularity of NENU in the whole country.
