On March 17th, in order to greet the centennial birthday of the Communist Party of China and inspire high morale and enthusiasm for the Party among teachers and students, the School of Media Sciences (School of Journalism) of NENU held the “Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Party” spring sports meeting of quality development for teachers and students in the square in front of the department building. Three teams including undergraduates, postgraduates, and teachers participated in this event.
This sports meeting is divided into three parts: “Tramping over hill and dale”, “Tempest of shot and shell” and “Pulling mountains down”, corresponding to the three fun sports of jumping rope, throwing sandbags, and tug-of-war. The activities helped strengthen mutual understanding among the teachers and students of the school and promote their relationships in the process of competition as well as provided opportunities for the participants to realize the tortuous course of centuries’ development of the Party through unity and cooperation and pay tribute to countless revolutionary ancestors. The event left precious memories for the teachers and students of the school.
