Recently, the Party Branch of the Alumni Work Office launched a series of activities for alumni to celebrate the centennial of the founding of the Party: “Recalling the history of NENU, learning lecture notes, and singing the school song".
The activity of “Recalling the history of NENU” combined the study of the history of the Party with the study of the history of NENU. Through the WeChat official account of “Northeast Normal University Alumni Association”, combined with “NENU’s solar terms”, it leads the alumni to recall the history of NENU. Up to now, four solar terms, the Beginning of Spring, Rain Water, the Waking of Insects and the Spring Equinox, have been introduced and respectively according to NENU’s “coming from Yan’an” to “relocation”, “settlement in Changchun”, and then to “renamed Northeast Normal University”, recalling the history of the NENU’s birth in the wartime. The activity of “Learning lecture notes” launched a series of subject-based learning around the main content of the “Important Lecture Notes on Education of General Secretary Xi Jinping”, leading the alumni to “not to forget the original intention of education, and keep in mind the mission of educating people.” The activity of “Singing the school song” mobilized the alumni association to carry out various forms of school song singing activities.
