Recently, Professor Li Guang, the executive dean of the Teacher Education Research Institute of NENU and the director of the Teacher Teaching Development Center, was elected as the vice chairman of the China Educational Technology Association Higher School Educational Technology Cooperation Working Committee after the fifth election of the organization concluded.
The China Educational Technology Association Higher School Educational Technology Cooperation Working Committee (referred to as the Special Committee) was established in 1999 with the support of the Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education. In October, 2008, the association was formally approved by the Ministry of Civil Affairs and became a secondary academic professional committee under the China Educational Technology Association. As a non-profit mass academic team focusing application and practice, it is committed to providing consultations, training, popularization, and other services for the implementation of the Ministry of Education’s policies on educational informationization , and promotes educational informationization in China, especially the educational informationization of colleges and universities.
NENU is one of the first batch of national teacher education development demonstration centers of the Ministry of Education, the leading constructive university of Teacher Teaching Development Research Institute in the northeast region, the chairman unit of the Jilin Province University Teacher Teaching Development Alliance, and the standing director unit of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), it has made remarkable achievements in research on teaching academic, innovation on teacher development concept, implementation of special teacher training activities, and construction of a developmental evaluation system of teaching quality, which has been widely recognized. The election this time has built a favorable platform for NENU to improve the level of education and teaching informationization, and promote the improvement of teaching quality and the cultivation of innovative talents.
