Recently, the final of China Daily "21st Century Cup" National English Speaking Competition was held in Baiyun International Conference Center, Guangzhou. Chen Hanyun, an English major of Grade 2018 from School of Foreign Languages of our university, won the second prize of the national final (Instructor: Associate Professor Jiang Li).
Since the "21st Century Cup" English Speaking Competition was launched in September 2019, it has attracted the keen attention of students of all ages at home and abroad. A total of more than 1 million students participated in the competitions of various groups. After being selected at different levels, more than 400 contestants from all over the country finally reached the final.
