Our school hosted the activities of Jilin Longwan National Natural Reserve research trip and nature education practitioner training

Recently, in order to thoroughly implement Xi Jinping's idea of ecological civilization, improve teenagers' awareness of ecological civilization, better guide teenagers to get close to nature, learn from nature, love nature and protect nature, and accelerate the leap-forward development of eco-tourism in our province, relying on the key laboratory of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the Jilin Training Base of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism established the Jilin Eco-tourism Expert Workstation in Longwan National Nature Reserve, and co-sponsored the training activities for practitioners of research tripand nature education in Longwan, Jilin Province with the State Key Laboratory of Wetland Ecology and Vegetation Restoration of Environmental Protection. The activities helped the healthy development of nature reserves and local cultural tourism through scientific and technological consultation and technical training.

During the training, the experts taught the nature education policies, safety, rules and knowledge, curriculum design, nature education activities norms, etc., and combined with the simulation practice, enhanced the comprehensive ability of students to serve the majority of young people, and then improved the overall service ability and service level of research and nature education institutions.

He Chunguang, a professor of the School of Environment of NENU, Bian Hongfeng, an associate professor, Wang Zhongqiang, a professor of the School of Geographical Sciences, and Zuo Bin, an associate research librarian of the Natural Museum, were hired as experts in Jilin eco-tourism expert workstation, and undertook the training and guidance activities of this research and nature education.
