Recently, "People's Education", a core Chinese journal of Peking University sponsored by China Education Press, which is in charge of the Ministry of Education, recently published an article written by Song Xuguang, Shao Zhihao and Jiang Yuancai, teachers of secondary school affiliated to NENU, "Inspire students to be successors in the new era with heroic songs - a case study of curriculum development of "Spirit of Korean War".
In order to help teachers of ideological and political courses in primary and secondary schools integrate the spirit into classroom teaching, "People's Education" invites famous teachers of ideological and political courses in the front line to record teaching cases with the theme of revolutionary spirit. This paper shows the case of "Spirit of Korean War" curriculum development from three aspects: "Incorporating heroic songs into activity classes, realizing spiritual guidance", "Incorporating heroic songs into ideological and political courses, shaping spiritual character" and "Integrating heroic songs into curriculum ideological and political courses, helping spiritual growth", which is conducive to realizing the organic integration of carrying forward the spirit and moral education and combining ideological and political classes with social classes.
