Teachers in NENU Selected as the 2021 “Good Person in Jilin·the Most Beautiful Teacher and Huang Danian-Style Good Teachers”

On September 6th, the 2021 “Good Person in Jilin·the Most Beautiful Teacher and Huang Danian-Style Good Teacher” conference was held in the auditorium of Changchun University of Technology. Professor Zhou Yifa from the School of Life Sciences in NENU, also the honoree of “Zheng Derong-Style Good Teacher” won the honor.

The “Good Person in Jilin·the Most Beautiful Teacher and Huang Danian-Style Good Teachers” selection is jointly launched by the Jilin Provincial Department of Education and the Publicity Department of the Jilin Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China. Since its launch in 2015, it has been held once a year, and 10 people have been honored each year.

After the recommendation by schools, and inspection of the recommended candidates’ ethics of the education department which they belonged to, as well as the expert group’s primary selection, re-election, and final selection, ten individual teachers and one team were ultimately reviewed and approved by the Provincial Education Department’s Party group meeting as the 2021“Good Person in Jilin·the Most Beautiful Teacher and Huang Danian-Style Good Teacher”.

This is the third time that the teachers of NENU have won this award. Previously, Professor Zhu Huan was selected as the 2020 “Good Person in Jilin·the Most Beautiful Teacher and Huang Danian-Style Good Teacher”, and Professor Derong Zheng was named as the model of the 2018 “Good Person in Jilin·the Most Beautiful Teacher” (special award). NENU is also the only university in the province that has won the award three times in four years.
