In order to further strengthen the fire-fighting security consciousness of teachers and students in experimental teaching unit, and to improve their abilities to handle emergencies in laboratories, Security Department and Faculty of Chemistry, NENU jointly launched emergency evacuation and fire-extinguishing relief training drill on November 9.
Teachers and students, who took a great interest in extinguishing fire when it occurred, experiencing fire-fighting supplies, etc., joined enthusiastically in the activity, and interacted positively with each other, and the activity lasted more that forty minutes. Teachers and students fully affirmed this activity, and they believed that this drill was conducive to improve fire-fighting security consciousness and fire prevention and control capacity, which was necessary for effectively preventing and handling fire accidents in laboratories.
Next, Security Department, NENU will positively launch targeted fire-fighting security publicity drill, constantly satisfy the fire-fighting security need of teachers and students, and strive to the overall level of fire prevention and control in the campus according to the actual fire prevention work of NENU in winter.
