Recently, the team with Professor Wang Mang from Faculty of Chemistry, NENU as leader made new progress in Trifluoromethylation methodology field. This study prepared N-CF3 Azoles with multiple structures for the first time based on cyclic reaction between N-CF3 Nitrile Onium Ions and 1,3-Dipoles. The result was published on Angewandte Chemie International Edition, an international famous journal (impact factor: 15.336). Professor Wang Mang, from Jilin Province Key Laboratory of Organic Functional Molecular Design & Synthesis, Faculty of Chemistry, NENU, Xu Cong, a young teacher, and Professor Guan Wei, Functional Materials Chemistry Research Laboratory, Faculty of Chemistry, NENU are corresponding authors of the thesis, and Zhang Ruzhong, a doctoral student, is first author of it.
In recent days, they used PhICF3Cl again as an effective Trifluoromethyl source, and made important progress in new synthetic strategy research of N-Trifluoromethyl Azole compound.
