From November 13th to 14th, the 46th ICPC International Collegiate Programming Contest Asia Regional Competition of Jinan Division hosted by Qilu University of Technology was held online. Participants in the contest were 800 teams from 289 schools including Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, NENU and many others. A total of four teams from NENU have accessed official qualifications through the online qualifiers. After 5 hours of fierce competition, the team guided by Luo Na from the School of Information Science and Technology of NENU won the silver medal (members are 2019 students Shi Manling, majoring in Educational Technology, Liu Yimu, majoring in Computer Science and Technology, and Li Jiaqi majoring in Statistics); the team guided by Zhou Zhiguo (members are 2019 studentsGao Heran, Chen Yinru, Duan Muduo majoring in Computer Science and Technology), the team guided by Wang Yiyuan (members are 2019 students Zou Yuming majoring in Software Engineering, Liu Sibo majoring in Computer Science and Technology, 2020 student Hu Zheyu majoring in Educational Technology) and the team led by Li Hongbo (members are 2020 students Yang Xiongxin and Ling Dian majoring in Computer Science and Technology and 2019 student Liu Tong) wonthe award of excellence.
Initiated in 1970, the ICPC International Collegiate Programming Contest is an annual competition which shows the innovative ability, team spirit, analysis and problem-solving ability of college students by writing programs under pressure. After nearly 50 years of development, the ICPC International Collegiate Programming Contest has developed into the most influential collegiate student computer competition in the world, and is known as the Olympic competition in the computer field.
