The Russian major of NENU has a glorious history of development and a tradition of rigorous academic research. Many scholars with both ability and political integrity have made outstanding contributions to the construction of the Russian major of Northeast Normal University and the development of Chinese Russian education. Professor Yu Yongnian, Professor Yuan Xuehui, and Professor Zhao Shizhang respectively won the first and second “Outstanding Contribution Award for Russian Language Education in China”. This time, Yu Yanchun and Liu Qingning were awarded the commendation, which once again confirmed the exemplary, leading and radiating role of the older generation of Russian teachers in NENU in promoting the development of Russian language education. It is believed that the spirit of the older generation of Russian teachers will inspire the younger generation to inherit the red gene, continue to work hard for the glorious dream, and forge ahead.
