Recently, Ministry of Ecology and Environment and Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China launched a comprehensive evaluation of a total of 75 national ecological environment science popularization bases from the first batch to the sixth batch, and jointed published Comprehensive Evaluation Results of National Ecological Environment Science Popularization Bases (hereinafter referred to as “the Evaluation Results”). Museum of Natural History of NENU and other 25 science popularization bases positively play a leading and demonstration role, with excellent comprehensive evaluation results.
The Evaluation Results show that science popularization bases can present ecological civilization practice results and ecological environment scientific and technological achievements, and actively carry out ecological and environmental science activities according to positioning and requirements, with the key work as a core, which has promoted the overall improvement of social environmental awareness and scientific literacy, and created a good social atmosphere for spreading Xi Jinping’s thoughts on ecological civilization and the fight against pollution.
