NENU Approved by the Ministry of Education as the First Batch of Pilot Projects for the Construction of Virtual Teaching and Research Rooms

Recently, the General Office of the Ministry of Education unveiled the list of the first batch of pilot projects for the construction of virtual teaching and research rooms.  The “Virtual Teaching and Research Room of University Physics Experiment Courses” and “Virtual Teaching and Research Room of Pedagogy Principles Courses” from NENU were approved.

The construction of the virtual teaching and research room aims to take “strengthening moral education and cultivating people” as the fundamental task, improve the ability of talent training as the core, and rely on modern information technology to explore and build a new and basic teaching organization, create a development community of teacher and teaching and quality culture, and guide teachers to return to teaching, love teaching, and research teaching, improve education and teaching ability, and provide strong support for the high-quality development of higher education.

There are 439 pilot projects for the construction of the first batch of virtual teaching and research rooms in the country. In terms of the range of construction, they are divided into on-campus, regional and national teaching and research offices; in terms of the content of construction, they are divided into courses (groups) teaching, professional construction, teaching and research reform, special topic teaching and research room, etc.

NENU will take the pilot construction of the virtual teaching and research room as an opportunity to give full play to the advantages of information technology, promote the construction of new and basic teaching organizations, actively mobilize the teaching vitality of teachers, promote teachers to strengthen research and exploration on professional construction, curriculum construction, teaching mode reform, etc., and continuously improve education and teaching capabilities.
