Recently, Ministry of Education of the PRC released Notice on the Establishment of the Construction Project of the Engineering Research Center of the Ministry of Education in 2022 (JIAO KEX IN HAN [2022] No.34). Northeast Water Pollution Low-Carbon Control and Green Development Engineering Research Center (hereinafter referred to as “Engineering Center”) declared by School of Environment was officially authorized.
Next, Engineering Center will focus on the goals and tasks of organizing the construction of strategic scientific and technological forces, conscientiously organize the preparation of the construction plan, and organize high-level experts to conduct feasibility demonstrations on the construction plan based on the requirements of Measures for the Administration of the Construction and Operation of Engineering Research Centers of the Ministry of Education, aiming at building the Engineering Center into an important base for promoting the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, promoting the development of discipline construction, cultivating and gathering innovative talents and conducting international cooperation and exchanges in order to contribute to the high-quality economic and social development and the “double first-class” construction of NENU.
