Recently, the 22nd Annual Conference of Education History, hosted by the Education History Branch of the Chinese Society of Education and undertaken by Faculty of Education of NENU, was successfully held in NENU. The central theme of the annual conference was “Communication and High-quality Development of Education: A Historical Perspective”. Experts and scholars from well-known domestic universities and research institutes such as Peking University, Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, Beijing Normal University, East China Normal University, Northeast Normal University, etc. attended the conference.
The annual conference has set up eight sub-forums, covering the fields of pre-school education, basic education, vocational education, overseas education, higher education, teacher education, educational history, scholars and journals, etc. The speakers closely combined with the theme of the annual conference and reported a total of 115 papers. The sub-forums were chaired by experts including Professor Wang Baoxing, Professor Huang Mingxi, and Professor Hou Huaiyin. Academic seniors and new academics gathered together to conduct lively exchanges and collide with active thinking sparks.
