On March 18th, the School of Environment participated in the series activities of “Ten Chains, Hundreds of Schools and Thousands of Enterprises” (Shenyang Station) in Tongzhou District, Nantong City, Jiangsu Province. The purpose of this activity is to focus on the project of “Ten Chains, Hundreds of Schools and Thousands of Enterprises” and to implement the strategy of “double employment and double introduction” in depth. The team conducted a roadshow on “Research and Development of Low-carbon Restoration and Treatment Technology for Water Environment”, showing the advanced wastewater treatment and ecological restoration technology for water environment developed by the team. The team building and technical achievements have been highly recognized by the government and experts and scholars. Associate Professor Geng Zhi, Cui Bin, Zhang Chongjun and Post Doc Yuhang had a heated discussion with the government, enterprise personnel and experts and scholars in universities on how to strengthen the cooperation in “Government- Industry-University-Research”. At the same time, the School of Environment signed an on-site contract with the Tongzhou District Government to put scientific and technological achievements into storage, and strive to get through the “last mile” of scientific and technological achievements transformation and realize the transformation of scientific and technological achievements.
