In order to thoroughly implement Study Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and put the requirements of the mobilization and deployment meeting of the NENU’s theme education into effect, recently, the Party Committee of the School of Marxism and the Chaoyang District Committee jointly launched the opening ceremony and the first publicity activity of the “Spark Voice of Youth·Young Master’s and Doctor’s Publicity Group of Marxist Theory”. Jiao Xiaohui, member of the Standing Committee of Chaoyang District Committee, Minister of Organization Department and President of Party School, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Others present at the event were members of the Standing Committee of Chaoyang Youth League, various streets and communities, Meng Xiansheng, Party Secretary of the School of Marxism of NENU, instructors and members of the publicity a group.
During the activity, Jiao Xiaohui affirmed the efforts made by teachers and students in our school to take the initiative to assume social responsibilities and capitalize on professional advantages to widely publicize Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era in the society. Meng Xiansheng emphasized in his mobilization speech that the group is an innovative attempt of cooperation between the school and society. Teachers and students of the School of Marxism should thoroughly study Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, organize collective study and lesson preparation in combination with the actual demands of the lecturers in a targeted manner, and strive to inject professional theoretical literacy and high-spirited youthful vigor into the publicity, so as to do a good job in helping the political theory study and youth ideological guidance in Chaoyang District.
After the ceremony, Deng Kailun, a member of the group, gave the first lecture entitled “The Communist Party of China’s Mission in the Hundred Years’ Struggle”. The presentation was centered on the CPC’s guiding ideology, road choice and highest ideal. The content was substantial and the historical materials were informative, which was highly praised by the community, laying a good foundation for the next mission to walk into the community to carry out “menu-style” presentation.
This activity is one of a series of contents for the School of Marxism to study and implement the theme education of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and to promote the engagement between teachers, students and Party branches to implement the latest theoretical achievements of the Party.
