On April 29th, Yin Xiaofeng Sculpture Art Museum of Changchun World Sculpture Park opened.
The indoor exhibition area of this art museum is 1,200 square meters, and the outdoor exhibition area is 2,200 square meters. This time, 2,745 donated works, such as sculptures and paintings, were exhibited in the Art Museum. There are seven exhibition areas in the art museum, including Mammy, Portrait Memory, Soul of Kanto, Walker, Diary of a Woman, Comprehensive Exhibition and Outdoor Exhibition. The works showcase the tension between the epic grand narrative of thematic creation and personalized spiritual writing, between rationality and sensibility, and between tenacity and softness. After aesthetic transformation, they always exude a kind of temperature and strength, which reflects the cultural consciousness and self-confidence of an artist of Northeast China.
Professor Yin Xiaofeng, born in the 1960s, has always kept in mind that students are the center and art is the highest. He has a strong cultural consciousness and self-confidence in education, teaching and artistic creation, and has vividly demonstrated his feelings of home and country, heroism and humanity. From 1996 to the present, Yin Xiaofeng led the team to brand Changchun as “Sculpture City”, which not only enhanced the influence of the discipline, but also vividly displayed the achievements of Changchun’s economic and social development, carried forward the spirit of patriotism and inherited the excellent traditional culture and art of the Chinese nation. The opening of Yin Xiaofeng Sculpture Art Museum once again showcases Yin Xiaofeng’s outstanding contribution to the art cause.
