On June 3, the opening ceremony of Theories and Practice of Skating Cruising and Rescue, a new course jointly launched by Jilin Provincial Bureau of Sports and School of Physical Education (School of Ice), NENU was held in NENU.

Theories and Practice of Skating Cruising and Rescue includes theories and practice covering skating skills, ski slope culture, outdoor first aid, injury assessment, cruising and rescue methods, medical knowledge, etc. Specialists in relevant fields at home and abroad are invited to work as lecturers and to edit localization textbooks in order to create a new mode of course construction, realizing a new thinking in course construction, build an international first-class course with Chinese characteristics, and cultivate a batch of skating cruising and rescue professionals with systemic theories and standard practical abilities.
