The Sixth Conference on Representatives of Faculty and Members of Labor Union of NENU (hereinafter referred as “Conference for Representatives”) was officially launched in the Report Hall, on the second floor of the new office building on June 7. 305 official representatives 11 special representatives, and 21 nonvoting delegates attended the conference with gratitude, full enthusiasms for politics and responsibilities of being the masters. Sun Zaiqi, Vice President of General Trade Union of Jilin Province, Liang Yanyuan, President of Jilin Provincial Trade Union of Education, Science, Culture, Health and Sports, Gao Jian, Vice President of Changchun Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, Wen Fengxue, President of Changchun Municipal Trade Union of Education, Science, Culture, Health and Sports, the Party and Government leaders of NENU including Lan Hengbin, Xu Haiyang, Wang Yan, Wei Min, Xue Lifeng, Wu Zhihui, Bai Weichun, Yan Weigang and Ai Chunming, the former school leaders including Zhou Jingsi, Sheng Lianxi, Shi Ningzhong, Yang Xiaohui, Liu Yichun, Gao Mingquan and Ma Xiaoyan, NPC deputies and CPPCC members at different levels, main persons-in-charge of all democratic parties and all united front groups, and main persons-in-charge of all departments, divisions, schools, and units attended the opening ceremony of the conference. With the national anthem as the background, the opening ceremony started at 13:30. Wang Yan, deputy secretary of the Party Committee in NENU and the executive president of the chairman group of the conference held the opening ceremony.
