Recently, the 35th Changchun Model Workers Commendation Conference was convened. Zhang Changzhong, Chairman of NENU’s Labor Union, won the title of “the 35th Changchun Model Worker”.
Model worker is an honorary title awarded to laborers who have made outstanding achievements in socialist construction. The selection of model workers in Changchun is held every five years. In November, 2022, Changchun launched the 35th selection of model workers. In recognition of the outstanding contributions of model workers and their leading role, the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government decided to award 179 people the title of “Changchun Model Worker”.
