It is for the second time that a teacher from NENU won such an honor since this prize had been set. Professor Gao Hang from School of Mathematics and Statistics, who was praised as a "Zheng Derong -style Teacher", once was ranked in the list in 2020.
The Ministry of Education and relevant units select 10-12 excellent teachers with outstanding morals and remarkable teaching achievements as well as good reputations in society as "National Models for Teachers" since 2010, which has achieved a good result of publicity and demonstration.
