On September 1, the unveiling ceremony of Changchun Education and Practice Base for Consolidating the Consciousness of the Chinese National Community , which was jointly built by Changchun Municipal Commission of Ethnic Affairs and Northeast Ethnic & Folk Custom Museum of our university, was held in Northeast Museum of Nationalities and Folklore.The primary leaders who participated in the unveiling ceremony were Wang Fei, director of Changchun Municipal Commission of Ethnic Affairs and vice director of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Changchun Municipal Committee; Li Mei, vice director of Changchun Municipal Commission of Ethnic Affairs; Wu Jun, vice director of the Publicity Department of the CPC Changchun Municipal Committee; Xue Lifeng, vice president of our university, and Xin Hai, secretary of Northeast Ethnic & Folk Custom Museum.
On the ceremony, Li Mei presided and Wang Fei made a keynote speech, Wang Fei and Xue Lifeng, as the representatives of Changchun Municipal Commission of Ethnic Affairs and the university, cut the ribbon and unveiled the plaque. The base, with the support of Changchun Municipal Commission of Ethnic Affairs and based on the advanced exhibition ideas and rich cultural relics of Northeast Ethnic & Folk Custom Museum, grandly exhibits the glorious history of the party's ethnic work since the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC), and the great achievements of the united front and national unity made by Changchun since 1949. Both sides observe that this joint construction will provide a strong political, historical and academic support for the education of consolidating the consciousness of the Chinese national community in Changchun city and even in Jilin Province, and will offer a new paradigm for the cooperation between the two sides in this field in the future.
