On October 16, 2023, "Heroes of Chinese Teaching" 2023, an Exchange Activity of International Chinese Teaching Skills in Northeast Region, was held in Changchun, hosted by the China National Committee for Graduate Education in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages and the Center for Language Education and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education, and organized by the International School of Chinese Studies of NENU.

Since the launch of the event in June, a total of 140 participants from 26 teams from 18 institutions in Jilin Province, Heilongjiang Province , Liaoning Province and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region have actively participated in this exchange activity.
