From October 25 to 29, the Replacement Training of 2023 for English Teachers in Teacher Education Innovation Experimental Zones was hosted by the Academic Affairs Division of NENU and organized by the School of Foreign Languages. 86 English teachers in the primary schools and secondary schools from 23 experimental zones across the country and other participating universities in the collaborative quality improvement plan of the Ministry of Education in the group headed by NENU (Liaoning Normal University and Mudanjiang Normal University) participated in the training activities.
The training consists of four modules: expert interpretation, master teacher guidance, observation and discussion, exchange and reflection. Prof. Liu Liyan, Associate Prof. Xu Wenxiu, Associate Prof. Xie Bing from the School of Foreign Languages of NENU, and Associate Prof. Wu Xiaowei from the Jilin Provincial Institute of Education delivered a series of lectures. Qiao Guo, from the High School Attached to NENU, Xu Zhuo, a high school English teacher and researcher from Jilin Provincial Institute of Education, and Wang Shudan, from Changchun Foreign Language School explained their understanding, recognition and practical preparation for the new curriculum reform with their personal teaching experiences.
