Recently, Director Li Hengjin and his colleagues from the Thesis Quality Monitoring Department of the Degree and Postgraduate Education Development Center of the Ministry of Education came to NENU for investigation around the work related to the evaluation index system for doctoral dissertations. Wei Min, vice president of NENU, and representatives of doctoral supervisors in some disciplines of NENU and relevant administrators of NENU’s Graduate School had a meeting with the investigation group.
On behalf of NENU, Wei Min welcomed Li Hengjin and his colleagues, and expressed thanks to the Degree and Postgraduate Education Development Center of the Ministry of Education for its care and support for NENU’s postgraduate education over the years. Li Hengjin introduced the general information of this investigation. The representatives of doctoral supervisors of NENU and the administrators of NENU’s Graduate School showed their opinions on the establishment of the evaluation index system for doctoral academic dissertations, the evaluation criteria for writing dissertations and the way of giving reviewer’s comments. After listening to those opinions, the investigation group had in-depth follow-up exchanges on the site.
