Professor Yi Xuexi from School of Physics of NENU, Professor Li Xiaoxue from School of Life Sciences and Professor Fu Xianhui from School of Mathematics and Statistics won the Baosteel Excellent Teacher Award. Gu Zhenyi, a doctor majoring in Materials Physics and Chemistry won the Baosteel Excellent Student Special Award. There were only 10 post-graduates who earned this reputation in China, and NENU was the only normal school in China whose student won the Baosteel Excellent Student Special Award.
