From December 7 to 9, 2023 World Chinese Language Conference was held in Beijing. Ding Xuexiang, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and Vice Premier of the State Council, attended the conference and delivered a keynote speech, and Huai Jinpeng, Minister of Education of China and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, presided over the conference. Liu Jiuqing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of Disciplinary Supervision of NENU, was invited to attend the conference, and the representatives of Chinese and foreign deans of NENU’s Confucius Institutes attended the conference and shared their experiences. Relevant persons in charge of Office of International Affairs and International School of Chinese Studies attended the conference.
The theme of this conference is "Chinese Serving the World, Openness Leading the Future", and the online course "Appreciation of Chinese Film and Television Works" produced by NENU won the " Digital Teaching Gold Class of Chinese Union" award issued by the Chinese Union.
