On April 25th, a delegation from Siberian Federal University, Russia, led by Vice President Gutz S. Janis, visited our university.
During the meeting, Liu Jiuqing extended a warm welcome to the delegation. He briefly introduced the development history, academic features, "Double First-Class" construction, and the current status of exchanges with Russia at Northeast Normal University.
Vice President Gutz expressed gratitude for the warm reception and thoughtful arrangements at Northeast Normal University. He introduced the basic situation, academic disciplines, and research directions of Siberian Federal University. He mentioned that this visit deepened their understanding of Northeast Normal University and hoped to build upon existing cooperation projects to jointly establish Sino-foreign cooperative education programs, jointly train talents for enterprises in the Krasnoyarsk region, and invite students from our university to intern at enterprises such as Russian Aluminum Joint Stock Company. In the next steps, our university will proceed with the implementation of the cooperation intentions reached during this meeting in an orderly manner.
