From May 26th to 27th, 2024, the Chinese Society of Environmental Sciences' 2024 Science and Technology Annual Conference, themed "Science and Technology Innovation Empowering the Construction of Beautiful China," was successfully held in Wuhan, Hubei Province.
Under the auspices of our university's National Key Laboratory of Wetland Ecology and Vegetation Restoration, the Wetland Environmental Ecology Conservation and Functional Development Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Environmental Sciences organized the "Wetland Ecological Restoration and Artificial Wetlands" sub-forum. Professor He Chunguang, the director of the key laboratory, served as the chairman of the sub-forum. The sub-forum also provided a platform for young students to showcase their research achievements. After the conference, a joint visit was conducted to the East Lake Wetland Ecological Restoration Technology Demonstration Zone of the Institute of Hydrobiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
