Our School Hosted the International Symposium "Civilizational Exchanges and Interactions in the East Asian World since Pre-Modern Times"

Published:September 13, 2024 Review:

On September 10th, our school, through the collaboration of the School of History and Culture, the East Asian Studies Institute, and the Center for World Civilization History, hosted the international symposium "Civilizational Exchanges and Interactions in the East Asian World since Pre-Modern Times" in Changchun. Professor Li Xiaodong, Dean of the Department of International Relations at Shimane Prefecture University in Japan, along with five others attended the event.

Scholars from the two schools expressed high regard for this academic gathering and hoped to continue collaborating in the future. They aim to leverage their respective disciplinary specialties and regional advantages to achieve resource sharing and complement each other's strengths. This partnership is intended to provide a supportive platform for young researchers in East Asian history and to jointly foster the vigorous development of academic research.
