From December 9 to 14, at the invitation of Rutgers University–Newark, a delegation from our university, including Vice President Wei Min, staff from the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, and members of the Northeast Normal University Rutgers University-Newark College, visited the United States for a working trip. During the visit, the delegation also paid a visit to the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in New York.
NENU-Newark College is a Sino-foreign cooperative educational institution approved by the Ministry of Education in 2015. It has been operating for nine years and has enrolled four cohorts of students from 2015 to 2022, totaling 915 students. Among them, 832 students obtained dual degrees. Rutgers University in the United States has sent a total of 265 faculty members to the Newark College. After reopening admissions in 2024, the college has enrolled 114 students.
