On November 29, Ms. Prezhikova, the Russian Consul General in Shenyang, along with Deputy Consul General Mr. Smirnov and Third Secretary Mr. Tsvetkov, visited our university.
During the meeting, Vice President Wei Min first extended a warm welcome to the delegation on behalf of the university and provided a detailed introduction to the university’s development history, distinctive features, and cooperation with Russia. Ms. Prezhikova expressed high appreciation for the university’s achievements in Russia-related exchanges. She noted that there is vast potential for further cooperation between Russia and China in higher education, and the Consulate General will continue to support the development of the university's Russian language program and talent cultivation. She also stated that the Consulate would work to build bridges for deeper collaboration between the university and Russian institutions, jointly promoting the prosperity and development of Sino-Russian educational relations.
After the meeting, the delegation visited the College of Chemistry to learn more about the college's Russia-related exchange activities.
