In order to deeply implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech on Intellectual property protection, serve the national innovation-driven development strategy, and empower the comprehensive revitalization of Northeast China, the Research Center for Intellectual Property and Innovative Development of NENU was held on April 20th. More than 150 leaders and experts from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Jilin University, Changchun University of Science and Technology, Changchun University, Jilin Academy of Agricultural Sciences and other higher education institutions, research institutes and government departments, as well as representative teachers and students, gathered to seek new paths of intellectual property protection and innovative development. The event was organized by Northeast Normal University and Jilin Association of Non-Communist Intellectuals. Bai Bing, president assistant of NENU and Zheng Yuquan, researcher of Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences delivered speeches respectively. Bai Bing and the person in charge of the United Front Work Department of NENU’s Party Committee unveiled the plaque of the research center, with Professor Liu Guizhi of the School of Politics and Law of NENU as the director.
