On May 9th, Lu Wei, Secretary-General of the Ancient Books Sorting and Research Work Committee of the Ministry of Education, along with Deputy Secretary-Generals Gu Yongxin, Wang Zhouyi, and others, visited the Ancient Books Sorting and Research Institute of our school for a research visit.
Lu Wei introduced the purpose of the visit and highly praised the achievements of our school’s Ancient Books Sorting and Research Institute, as well as its outstanding contributions to the cause of ancient books sorting and research in China.
At the meeting, the main leader of the Ancient Books Sorting and Research Institute gave a special report, introducing the development process, key achievements, and future plans of the institute over the past 42 years. The faculty members of the institute and the research team engaged in in-depth discussions on research and teaching issues.
