On October 20, the Inaugural Meeting of the 9th Council and the 2025 Annual Academic Conference of the Chemistry Teaching Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Education were held in Kunming.
During the conference, participants reviewed and approved the work report of the 8th Council, and elected the new Council members, Supervisors, and Academic Committee members.
Professor Zheng Changlong from NENU was elected Chair of the Chemistry Teaching Professional Committee. This marks the first time that a NENU faculty member has served as chair of this nationally influential academic organization, demonstrating the broad recognition of NENU’s leadership and impact in the field of chemistry education research.
