Recently, the “2026 Graduate Job Fair for Master’s and Doctoral Candidates in the Education Sector of Jilin Province” was held at the Comprehensive Gymnasium of NENU. Liu Xuejun, First-Class Inspector of the Jilin Provincial Department of Education, attended the event.
The job fair was jointly organized by the National Employment and Entrepreneurship Steering Committee for Graduates of Regular Higher Education Institutions in the Education Sector and the Jilin Provincial Department of Education, and co-hosted by the Jilin Provincial College Graduate Employment Guidance Center, the Jilin Provincial College Students Employment and Entrepreneurship Association, and Northeast Normal University.
The event aimed to thoroughly implement the decisions and plans of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on graduate employment, precisely align with the demand for high-level talents in building a strong education nation, provide a high-quality platform for matching supply and demand, expand employment channels, and promote higher-quality and fuller employment for 2026 graduates.
The fair attracted 188 employers from more than 20 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities across China, including Beijing, Shanghai, Jilin, Liaoning, Heilongjiang, Guangdong, and Hainan. A total of 4,984 job positions were offered, covering a wide range of fields such as teaching, research, and administration. More than 10,000 master’s and doctoral graduates from universities across the country attended the event, submitting over 50,000 resumes.
NENU has always placed great emphasis on graduate employment. The university has held multiple career information sessions and policy briefings to build effective information bridges, help students understand employment policies, and clarify career directions. Going forward, NENU will continue to strengthen efforts by organizing a series of large, medium, and small-scale job fairs and career guidance activities.
Focusing on expanding high-end employment channels and improving recruitment matching, the university will adopt targeted and diversified measures to further broaden market coverage and enhance the quality of employment services.
