On October 31, the 2025 Northeast China Regional “Chinese Teaching Heroes Conference” International Chinese Language Teaching Skills Exchange was held at NENU. The event was co-organized by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation (CLEC) of the Ministry of Education, the National Administry Committee of Professional Degree Graduate Education of International Chinese Language Education, and the Joint Council of Directors of Undergraduate Programs in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (TCSOL) in National Universities, and was hosted by the School of International Chinese Language Education at NENU.
More than 200 experts, scholars, and representatives of teachers and students from 13 universities across Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang provinces and the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region participated on-site, with over 10,000 online participants joining via livestream.
This competition showcased the innovative achievements of international Chinese language education in Northeast China and highlighted the broad prospects of digital and intelligent technologies in empowering classroom teaching. The School of International Chinese Language Education at NENU will continue to deepen teaching reforms, promote the integrated development of curriculum design, technological innovation, and cultural depth, drive teaching innovation through digitalization, nurture educational connotations through cultural inheritance, thereby continuously enhancing the quality and influence of international Chinese language education.
