From November 5 to 7, the first National Professional Practice Showcase for Master of Arts students in Music Education was held at NENU’s Jingyue Campus. The event was hosted by the National Art Professional Master Degree Education Steering Committee and organized by Northeast Normal University. Ninety-three participants nominated by 48 graduate training institutions nationwide took part, demonstrating the solid training outcomes of music education graduate students.
During the showcase, two graduate students selected from NENU excelled in the written examination and demonstrated strong professional competence and overall ability during the practical sessions, earning high recognition from experts. Ultimately, Li Fanglin received the Excellence Award in the Primary School Category and Shi Wenjia received the Excellence Award in the Junior High School Category. NENU faculty members Tong He and Xu Lili won the Excellent Instructor Award, and NENU received the Excellent Organization Award.
