Li Qishi, a Teacher from the School of Physical Education (School of Winter Sports) of NENU, Honored as the Advanced Individual in National Mass Sports

Recently, the General Administration of Sport of China issued the Decision on Awarding the Advanced Institutions and Individuals of National Mass Sports Between 2021 and 2024, and Li Qishi, a teacher of the School of Physical Education (School of Winter Sports) of NENU, was awarded the "Advanced Individual in National Mass Sports Between 2021 and 2024 ". As a world-renowned female athlete of speed skating, Li Qishi has twice represented China in the Winter Olympics (2014 Sochi Winter Olympics and 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics), broke the venue record in the 1000m race of the 2014 World Cup of Speed Skating,became the champion of short-distance team pursuit of the World Cup in the season of 2015-2016, and broke the 1500m venue record maintained by herself for 8 years in Changchun in 2023, and in 2024 at the 14th National Winter Games, she won the most medals in speed skating with one gold, one silver, and three bronze medals. Since 2024, Li Qishih has been a member of the faculty of the School of Physical Education and Sports (School of Winter Sports) of NENU.
